PMMC UPDATE - Addressing Riverbank Erosion: A Journey of Resilience and Support

For several years, we have been grappling with the pervasive issue of riverbank erosion. This ongoing struggle has demanded resilience, perseverance, and, most importantly, the collaboration and financial support from our Partners. Thanks to their generosity, we have been able to construct a Gabion wall that now ensures the smooth flow of the river on the other side of the land.

Thanks to their generosity, we have been able to construct a Gabion wall that now ensures the smooth flow of the river on the other side of the land.
Even in the face of recent torrential rains, which brought an immense volume of water, the river was able to contain it successfully. This remarkable feat was only possible due to the robust structure of the Gabion wall. The once-menacing riverbank erosion has been tamed, and the river now runs smoothly, offering us a much-needed respite.
